Summer Session I - 2013
The CRC has fairly limited hours during summer sessions since students are in class (lecture, recitation or lab) for so many hours each day.
Note: Additional hours are being arranged and hours of availability will be subject to change through May 21.
Use of wooden pencils in the CRC is prohibited. A student who uses the facility has a severe allergy to wooden pencils and exposed wood products. Please be mindful of this student's health and safety.

The Chemistry Resource Center (CRC), located in LD 201, provides students with an opportunity to get additional help in their chemistry courses. The Center’s hours vary somewhat term to term, but it is generally open 30-40 hours during the week (including some evening hours) during the fall and spring semesters, with limited summer hours. Help is free and is available on a drop-in basis.
The CRC is staffed by a core group of workers who are hired specifically to provide assistance to chemistry students. Graduate students, part-time instructors and advanced undergraduates also work in the resource center providing help on topics from stoichiometry to laboratory data analysis. One-on-one and small group assistance with homework problems is available. Computers are available as well. The staff can help troubleshoot online assignments (How do I login?) and provide basic help with common chemistry software (How do I change the scale on the y-axis? How do I use ChemDraw to make structures for my lab report?).
The CRC’s target audience is students enrolled in classes at the introductory levels, with particular emphasis on serving students in C100, C101, C105, C106, C110, C115, C121, C125, and C126. Many students in “sophomore” organic chemistry (C341, C342, C343, and C344) also make use of the facility.
