Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology Ph.D. Student Receives Award

Kyle Cissell, B.S., DePauw University, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology working with Prof. Sapna Deo, received an award at the recent 2006 Sigma Xi Graduate Research Competition. This competition is sponsored by the IUPUI Chapter of Sigma Xi and featured presentations by graduate students in the sciences. Students were rated based on three categories: quality of abstract, presentation, and how well the student responded to questions. Participating students ranged from first-year graduates to recent Ph.D. recipients.
