Chair Search – Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology

The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology at IUPUI invites applications and nominations for a senior-level, tenured position as Department Chair beginning in July 2008. While the area of research specialization is open, the successful applicant should be prepared to lead the further development of undergraduate and graduate programs and research that coincides with the Department’s efforts to complement interdisciplinary campus-wide programs in areas related to the life and health sciences
(see http://www.chem.iupui.edu). Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related discipline, and have a record of sustained and vigorous externally funded research. Applicants should submit a CV, a statement of research, teaching, and administrative experience & philosophy, together with a vision statement for departmental growth & enhancement, a list of start-up needs, and names of three references.
